Piero F. Giunti is an award-winning, Los Angeles–based photographer, filmmaker, and curator whose work sits at the intersection of music, community, and global cultural storytelling. Over the last decade, he has dedicated his career to preserving the voices and images of the artists who shaped Los Angeles through A GREAT DAY IN EAST LA®, the largest oral history and portrait project ever created about the city’s musicians.

As a photographer, he has collaborated with and documented a wide range of influential artists, including Public Enemy, Ice Cube, Tom Morello, Zack de la Rocha, The Black Eyed Peas, ZZ Top, Becky G, Los Tigres del Norte, Los Tucanes de Tijuana, and Caifanes. His photographs have been published internationally in outlets including Vogue, Rolling Stone, Billboard, and Spin. He has served as the official photographer and videographer for Los Lobos for the past eight years.
