Nathan Golon is a director, cinematographer, producer, and co-founder of GoodFight Media. His directorial debut, I AM YUP’IK, premiered at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival, where he also served as cinematographer. As a cinematographer and producer, his credits include the Emmy-nominated RUN MAMA RUN, which premiered at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival, and Hangdog, which premiered at the 2023 Provincetown International Film Festival before securing global distribution through Apple TV and Amazon.
As a documentary cinematographer, Golon has collaborated with Academy Award-winning filmmakers Alex Gibney, Jessica Yu, and Spike Jonze, as well as Emmy Award winners Stephen Maing, Abigail Disney, Kathleen Hughes, and others. His commercial and branded work includes projects for Carhartt, Rivian, UPS, Lyft, Pfizer, Procter & Gamble, New York City Ballet, and the United Nations Foundation. He also co-developed and taught the GoodFight Workshops, focused on storytelling for nonprofit and NGO professionals. Golon is based in Portland, Maine.
