Co-director, Los Lobos Native Sons

Doug Blush is an award-winning director, producer, editor, writer, and cinematographer whose work spans more than 300 feature and television projects. He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and American Cinema Editors. His credits include executive producing the Critics Choice and Peabody Awards Award-winning MR. SOUL! (2020), as well as several Academy Award-winning documentaries: THE ELEPHANT WHISPERERS (2023), PERIOD. END OF SENTENCE. (2019), and ICARUS (2018), and serving as supervising editor on 20 FEET FROM STARDOM (2013). Current projects include co-directing LOS LOBOS NATIVE SONS, which premiered at the SXSW Film Festival.

He is also a longtime film educator, teaching classes and seminars at University of Southern California, University of California, Los Angeles, Syracuse University, and the YoungArts Foundation, as well as leading exchanges and panels around the world. He is co-founder, with his wife Lisa Klein, of MadPix, Inc., a Los Angeles–based production company.
