Bridget Hunnicutt is a documentary filmmaker based in Washington, DC. She has directed and produced factual content for major platforms, including HBO, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, Smithsonian, Vice News, Animal Planet, and more. In her prior role as Senior Vice President of Development and Production at National Geographic Channel, Hunnicutt launched hit series, including Locked Up Abroad, Brain Games, and Dog Whisperer. She played a key role in commissioning and overseeing hundreds of documentaries, including acclaimed documentaries such as Inside 9/11, the Academy Award-nominated Trouble the Water, and Russia’s Toughest Prisons.
