Angela “Angie Ange” Hailstorks is a former nationally syndicated radio host turned multi-media executive currently serving as Director of Content at WHUT- Howard University Television PBS. A graduate of Howard University and Prince George’s County, MD native, Angie has created original content with an emphasis on local storytelling across multiple platforms.
Notably, Angie co-created AMPD 365, a digital-first artist performance platform that amassed a following of over 100k and reach of over a million impressions, which led to partnerships with META. Angie also created WHUT’s digital-first local storytelling series Decades, which has over a million impressions across digital platforms. Angie has executive produced numerous original programs for WHUT, including The Golden Year: Howard Women’s Basketball, Who’s The REAL HU? and Beyond The Water: Howard University Swimming & Diving Team in partnership with MPT’s HBCU WEEK NOW initiative.
Angie continues to use her brand equity in the Washington, DC market and beyond to amplify WHUT, public media, and storytellers while leading the charge for traditional media to innovate in digital spaces.
