Hao Zhou is a filmmaker originally from southwest China, currently based in Ohio. Zhou’s films include narrative, nonfiction, and experimental works that explore queer experiences in Asia and the Asian diaspora. Past works include The Night (2014, Berlinale), Frozen Out (2021, Student Academy Award gold medal winner, BFI Flare, Frameline), Future Flowers (2022, Images Festival), and Here, Hopefully (2023, PBS, Outfest, Big Sky, BlackStar).
