Tracing their journey from the streets of East L.A. to international acclaim, LOS LOBOS NATIVE SONS is the definitive, authorized chronicle of one of America’s most enduring and genre-defying bands, Los Lobos. With unprecedented access to the band’s archives, the film offers an intimate portrait of the brotherhood at the heart of their music. Through electrifying performances and candid interviews with Linda Ronstadt, Rubén Blades, Tom Waits, Dolores Huerta, Danny Elfman, Jackson Browne, Cheech Marin, Edward James Olmos, Peter Frampton, George Lopez, Bonnie Raitt, and others, the film celebrates Los Lobos as cultural trailblazers, blending rock, roots, and Mexican traditions into a sound unmistakably their own.
