In the depths of Earth’s oceans, where darkness reigns and strange life forms thrive in isolation, marine biologists embark on a race to uncover the secrets of the deep sea—our planet’s last great wilderness. With over 70% of Earth’s surface hidden beneath the waves, these explorers are studying ecosystems that have existed for millennia, largely untouched by human hands. But as they uncover awe-inspiring creatures and fragile habitats, a looming threat arises: the rapid advance of deep-sea mining, poised to destroy what little remains of this mysterious world.

How Deep is Your Love is both an urgent call to preserve the unexplored wonders beneath the surface and a reminder of the fragility of our planet. As the scientists battle not only the elements but also the forces of industry, the film challenges us to consider our own relationship with the natural world—how deep is our love for a world we may never see, but which we risk losing forever?
