SIGHT AND SOUND examines the ways we communicate through words, images, and the chasm between them. Across city streets, desolate highways, homes, and archives, these works explore how memory, trauma, and intimacy are carried not only in language, but in gesture, sound, and the visual traces of lived experience. A city symphony animates the world through rhythm and observation; a man names the world in singular fragments; a son longs for his mother’s fading voice; and anonymous travelers transform the road into a testament of endurance and choice. Together, these films reveal communication as something fragile and layered—spoken, observed, remembered, and, at times, impossible to fully name.
