International Documentary Co-Productions

Ina Fichman, Moderator; President/Producer, Intuitive Pictures Inc.

International co-productions have become an essential strategy in the global documentary landscape, allowing filmmakers to share resources, access diverse funding opportunities, and expand their audiences through cross-border collaboration. This workshop will explore the key benefits and challenges of working internationally–including financing structures, market access, cultural exchange, and regulatory hurdles. Participants will gain practical insights into forging strong partnerships, navigating legal and creative differences, and building collaborative models that enhance both the storytelling and reach of their films.
