BETWEEN US explores the fragile, often unspoken spaces between generations, partners, and families—where love, expectation, and identity collide. Across vastly different cultural landscapes, these films trace intimate negotiations between personal desire and inherited tradition: a young couple confronting the pressures of marriage, a granddaughter searching for connection through inherited silence, a teenage dancer channeling emotion through movement, and a young girl coming of age at the edge of childhood and adulthood. In turn, they reveal how the bonds that shape us can also constrain us, and how identity is forged in the push and pull of family, memory, and social expectation.
